Blackout and Laser Curtains

Here are a few things to keep in mind when getting started:

1. How dark do you need it?
   
   1. Pretty dark
   2. Mostly dark
   3. Complete blackout
2. Will you be using a laser in the space?
   
   1. What is the power of the laser you are using?
3. Is the space a clean room?
4. How will you be mounting the curtains?
   
   1. Off the ceiling
   2. Off the wall
5. What will the design of the space look like?
   
   1. Do you need to be able to go into the work space while a test is in progress?
6. Lighting
   
   1. Make certain that you can access your light switches from inside the work space. You don't want someone turning the light on from outside the space while you are working inside the blackout space.
7. Sprinkler systems
   
   1. Does your fire sprinkler system have a sprinkler head inside the blackout space?
